was founded on August 31st 1973 by Tirtomulyadi Sulistyo,
equipped with modern computerized machines which occupy
45 hectares of land at Driyorejo. It started its commercial
production in 1976 with an initial production capacity
of only 5,000 tons a year.
On 1998, the company has operate 8 (eight) units of
paper machinery, for papers and boards, with total
annual production capacity of 329,400 tons.
The
great potentials in technology give Surabaya Agung the flexibility
to satisfy both big and small customers.
In
addition, with its product diversity from industrial papers,
boards, to specialty papers, has enabled Surabaya Agung
to meet the international quality standard in a wide variety
of products which is classified in two major groups, paper
and board.
